Mr. RPI:
Pi Beta Phi will hold it's 28th annual Mr. RPI competition this year. One contestant is chosen, by a group of faculty judges, to win the title of Mr. RPI along with a grand prize. There are four different categories in this event: evening wear, swim wear, question and answer, and a talent portion! Over five hundred students, faculty, and alumni attend this event each year. Last year, $1,150 was raised and donated to the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the American Heart Association.
Fraternity Day of Service:
Each year in March, Pi Phis across America are united in their community service efforts toward literacy organizations. This past year, sisters from the NY Epsilon chapter participated with Read Across America in an effort to encourage children to read by visiting local elementary schools and reading to students during their class.

Relay for Life:
Relay for life is a nation-wide event celebrating survivorship and raising money towards American Cancer Society research and programs. This overnight-event brings the campus together as Greek organizations and campus groups walk or run laps. In 2007, the RPI campus event raised more than $100,000 with over 1,400 participants.
